Ernest Miller Hemingway was an American writer and journalist whose works are considered as classics in American literature. Hemingway has authored numerous books such as novels, non-fiction literary works and short stories. Hi writing style has a big impact on American literature and has been influential with the works of writers after him. He wrote in narrative prose and began a style famously known as the Iceberg theory. In 1954, Hemingway was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature. Hemingway was married four times and had three children – one from his first marriage and two from his second marriage. In 1961, Hemingway took his own life.
