Obama, the first African-American to be elected as president of the Harvard Law Review, was born to Kenyan senior governmental economist Barack Hussein Obama Sr. and American anthropologist Stanley Ann Dunham. In his memoir, Obama talked about his childhood life like his memories of his father which were formed through his mother’s stories and who he saw only once after his parents divorced in 1964. Obama opened up about his search for racial identity, experiences in primary school until his collegiate years, and the difficulties that he faced as a community organizer for a non-profit organization in Altgeld Gardens in Chicago. He also discussed about his trip to his father’s home in Kenya to get a better understanding of his African roots. Included in his memoir are Obama’s ideas and opinion on poverty, racism and corruption both in Kenya and in Chicago.</p>
<p>Barack Hussein Obama II is the 44th and current President of the United States. Born on August 4, 1961, Obama is the first African-American president of the country. President Obama was born to a Kenyan father and an American mother. Before being elected as the President, Obama served as Member of the Illinois Senate from the 13th district and United States Senator from Illinois. He married Michelle Robinson who he met at a Chicago law firm. They have two daughters: Malia Ann and Natasha (Sasha). They also have a Portuguese Water Dog named Bo.</p>

In this autobiography book by the late President of the United States, he wrote about his ideas on the philosophy on life, the outdoors, and of course about his presidency. Here, President Roosevelt expressed his opinions numerous subjects regarding politics such as conservation, international affairs and trust busting. The book is quite an unconventional autobiographical book. For the first part of it, it was written chronologically while the second part was written based on certain themes. Even if President Roosevelt did not write much about his personal life, like not mentioning his wife Alice Hathaway Lee, this book still gives its readers a look into the mind of this legendary man.  This autobiography book is a must read for any who enjoys history and insights into great men.</p>
<p>The 26th President of the United States, Theodore Roosevelt, is considered as one of the greatest U.S. Presidents. Even before becoming a president, Roosevelt had held several positions in politics. At age 42, Roosevelt became the youngest president in US history. He was remembered not only for his accomplishments as a public servant but also for his other achievements such as being a naturalist, explorer, hunter, author, and soldier. Roosevelt suffered a great loss with the death of his wife Alice which caused him to not include her in his autobiography. He has one child with Alice named Alice as well. Roosevelt remarried and had 5 more children with his second wife Edith Kermit Carow. President Roosevelt was also known for being the reason behind the name of stuffed bears or teddy bears. Roosevelt is one of the four presidents who is included in the Mount Rushmore National Memorial.</p>

President Reagan wrote in his diary every night since he seated in office during his two terms. He always wrote diary entries daily except for the time that he was hospitalized due to an assassination attempt. This autobiography book contains his thoughts on politics as well as personal matters. He expressed his feelings towards his wife Nancy Reagan and his family and spoke fondly of his other half. Reagan discussed about his relationships with leaders of different sectors like politics and the religious sects. In his diaries, Reagan did not only describe his take on politics like the Cold War, people he worked with and the decisions that he made; but also simple things that he did daily. He also talked about his faith in God despite not regularly going to church. “The Reagan Diaries” allows its readers to see the inner thoughts of this great American leader.</p>
<p>Ronald Wilson Reagan was born on February 6, 1911. He was the 40th President of the United States. Reagan served two terms in office, first in 1981 to 1985 and the second in 1985 to 1989 which was a landslide. However, it wasn’t all win for Reagan. In 1868 and 1976, Reagan lost in his run for the Republican presidential nomination. It was on 1980 that he won the nomination. President Reagan’s policies in economics were referred to as Reaganomics which were basically centered on lower taxes and a smaller government. Prior to becoming the President, Ronald Reagan was the 33rd Governor of California. He served from 1967 to 1975. Before Reagan started his political career, he was in the entertainment business first. He was a talent in different radio stations, a television and movie actor as well as a former president of the Screen Actors Guild. Reagan was married twice, the first with actress Jane Wyman with whom he had 3 children (one of them was adopted) and the second with actress Nancy Davis with whom he had 2 children.</p>

<p>Freedom in Exile is the autobiography book of the 14th Dalai Lama. In this book, His Holiness The Dalai Lama talked about his life starting from the time when he was recognized as the rebirth of bodhisattva  Avalokiteśvara at the tender age of 2 up until the time when he won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1989. The Dalai Lama discussed about the tragedies and hardships that he encountered during his lifetime such as the sufferings of his fellow Tibetans under the Chinese army as well as his exile which lead to his establishment of a government-in-exile. To a great extent, the Dalai Lama told the details of the great distress that fell upon Tibet and yet humbly points out that he holds no grudge against the Chinese. The Dalai Lama’s autobiography is certainly a great read for those who would love to learn about history, culture and the Buddhist philosophy.</p>
<p>The Dalai Lama is part of the lineage of tulkus or Tibetan Buddhist lamas. He is acknowledged as the rebirth of bodhisattva  Avalokiteśvara. His Holiness was born to a farming family in the village of Taktser, Tibet. At the age of 2, he was recognized as the rebirth of the 13th Dalai Lama and was officially enthroned at age 15. Even during his younger years, the Dalai Lama experienced a great deal of challenges including an invasion by the army People’s Republic of China in 1950 and his exile to India where he created a government-in-exile. However, the life of the Dalai Lama is not without controversies. His Holiness has his fair share of these such as criticisms from British journalist Christopher Hitchens, protests from the Chinese during his talks in UK, and his fight for Tibetan independence which led to the disapproval of his visa to South Africa and the withdrawal of an Honorary Degree by the University of Tasmania.  <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0060987014?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=celebfeuds-20&amp;linkCode=xm2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creativeASIN=0060987014" target="_blank">SEE THIS BOOK ON SALE</a></p>

<p>Nelson Mandela, former president of South Africa, is most widely known for his superior morals and political decisions. Mandela’s experiences as a political leader were based on his lifelong dedication to end apartheid  and majority rule. In his autobiography book &#8220;Long Walk to Freedom&#8221;, Mandela depicts how his destiny as a born leader served as an important tool in his quest to peaceably create a multiracial government, while fighting for human rights and racial equality, in addition to keeping his family together. Nelson Mandela has been and still is a vital force of the South African people’s rights, and multi racial democracy. He was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his triumphant and unwavering efforts succeeded though not without hardships. Nelson Mandela vividly culminates the dramatic escapades that he had to deal with, leading up to the famous 1964 Rivonia Trial in which he ends up being sentenced to life imprisonment.  Political warfare took over his reign while he was thrown into prison for 27 years. All the while he recounts the events of his prison life, and the delicate negotiations that led to his freedom in 1990 and the beginning of the end, of apartheid. He fought hard for racial freedom –especially against what the majority would agree to or believe in.  &#8220;Long Walk to Freedom&#8221; is an autobiography book that any Mandela fan will enjoy.</p>
<p>Nelson Mandela born on July 18, 1918 was a former South African President from 1994-1999. Prior to his presidential reign, he served 27 unwarranted years in prison all the while fighting for people’s rights, democracy, and the end of apartheid, finally being released in 1990. He is also a Nobel Peace Prize recipient.  <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0316548189?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=celebfeuds-20&amp;linkCode=xm2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creativeASIN=0316548189">SEE THIS BOOK ON SALE</a></p>

<p>In his autobiography book, Thomas Jefferson, the 3rd president of the United States, writes a detailed account of his outstanding life in his own words,  otherwise known as his autobiography. Jefferson, was the primary author of the Declaration of Independence (in collaboration with the likes of Benjamin Franklin). In his book, there is a copy of the first draft of the Declaration, as well as his comments on the Articles of Confederation. Thomas Jefferson was one of the most influential founding fathers of America. He promoted ideals of republicanism, was a philosopher, a governor of Virginia, where he  authored the Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom, and spent some years as a minister to France. To some he is revered as a man of the Enlightenment because he favored states’ rights and a strictly limited federal government as opposed to cities and financiers. Jefferson heavily favored the separation of church and state.</p>
<p>Thomas Jefferson (April 17,1743 – July 4,1826) , held a variety of roles throughout his lifetime. These roles included, the first secretary of state for the U.S., second vice president, third president of the U.S., wartime governor of Virginia, primary author of the Declaration of Independence, and a minister to France. He is considered one of the greatest American presidents as well as one of the most influential Founding Fathers of America.  <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0812219015?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=celebfeuds-20&amp;linkCode=xm2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creativeASIN=0812219015" target="_blank">SEE THIS BOOK ON SALE</a></p>
