Aerosmith was formed in Boston in 1970.  They signed their music contract in 1972 with Columbia Records and released their first album in 1973 with the self titled album Aerosmith.  They have been called the ‘Bad Boys of Boston’.  In 1993, Get a Grip was their first album to debut at #1 on the charts.  The band also scored a success in the video game world with the 2008 release of Guitar Hero: Aerosmith.  The band’s members are Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Brad Whitford, Tom Hamilton, and Joey Kramer.
